Book Two, Chapter 3

How and where do Julia and Winston meet?
An open air market were they can talk fairly openly abet quietly

What is Julia’s job?
Maintaining the book making machine

What is her background?
she works in the fiction department, she puts in hours for the junior anti-sex league, and does extra hours so she can get the most out of this life

What is her attitude toward the Party?
She does what is expected so she doesn't get killed, but when away from it her discription detours down vulgarity lane

Describe the quote “ With Julia, everything came back to her own sexuality. As soon as this was touched upon in any way she was capable of great acuteness”. What does Winston think about Julia?
Julia doesn't care about anything unless it touches her own personal life

Why does the Party think the sexual impulse as well as the familial love dangerous?
The party can't contol feelings

Book Two, Chapter 4

How does Winston react to the singing Prole woman?
She was pretty good and she made a terrible song sound decent

What pleasures of the senses are mentioned in this chapter? What is Orwell’s point in mentioning them?
Smell-Julia's
He says that women don't wear perfume but Julia put some on

What is Winston’s reaction to rats? Julia’s reaction?
He spasses but she couldn't care less

Winston is interested in the church bells that once played in the city even though he is not religious. 
What do church bells mean to him?
It is a conection to the past and he is wants to know every thing about the real past

Winston sees the coral paperweight as a symbol of what?
It symbolizes their love and their little rebellion
